Would you feed this to your kid?
Would you let your child eat something for breakfast when the first ingredient is high fructose corn syrup?
The best part is this particular food is marketed as a ‘healthy food’! Ha! More than half of the ingredients are sugars!
I was asking for BREAKFAST people. Not would you EVER feed. I mean really..yes all things in moderation, but what is wrong with eggs for breakfast? Brain-food for good foucus during the day!
Depends on what it is. If it’s pancakes and syrup (and the syrup is the high fructose ingredient, then yeah–that would be okay), but if you’re talking about giving him a Hostess Cupcake and a tumbler of YooHoo for breakfast, that’s not okay. lol Maybe once in a while as a *seriously* rare treat (if he’s been extra good at school or something) but not on a regular basis.

Most pancake syrup is made with high fructose corn syrup. Would you let your child eat pancakes or waffles for breakfast? Even with maple syrup, it’s an all-carbs and sugar breakfast.

I don’t feed my kid that crap.Moderation or not, it is basically poison to our bodies.I feed my kids organic if not natural foods.I don’t even feed my kids corn since it is hard on the digestive system.

Depends on what it was. I’m all for eating healthy but a pop tart or sugary bowl of cereal every now and again won’t kill you. I think that’s all part of being a kid. On Saturdays I let my kids choose their breakfast the rest of the week they eat what I choose.

yes, my kids have had granola bars, they’ve had pop, they’ve had caramel apples.
Everything in moderation.
